Negative concord

A textbook term that explains informal, illogical uses of double negatives when the intention is to convey a single negative in a sentence. This phenomenon goes against traditional English rules and effectively contributes towards the downfall of societal intelligence.

Person 1: "I didn't do nothing".

Person 2: "Did you just say a negative concord"?
Person 1: "What's that"?
Person 2: "It's when you say a double negative when you don't intend to. You don't sound smart when you speak like that".

Neganate

a neganate (neh-gah-nate) is when your manager mad and is, for example, running at you full speed. (this works best in the restaurant industry) it's his or hers negative alter ego, you can even use nega (manager name here) in any context!
