A phrase used for when you are forced to complete a task you're fundamentally opposed to or one of great moral dilemma.

Yeah, it felt like I was scraping my soul on the ground, but she's better off knowing her husbands unfaithful.

Strepping

Short for the word “obstreperous”. Strepping means to be stubborn and resistant to authority. It is usually used to describe a boisterous youth.

Tony was a good point guard, but he be strepping with his coaches. He never listened to their instructions.
