usually is something cute not funny.

movie example: Ice Age is a mom comedy because people who have good sense of humor usually wouldnt think it is a comedy but a mom would.

A book with pictures of cats in it that someone added captions that match the cats facial expression perfectly is an example of a mom comedy.
