Roger Ebert

To call someone a Roger Ebert is to say that they are a naive pompous asshat with no credibility. It is most often used to describe people who spout their opinion on subjects they know little to nothing about.

This slang term became increasingly popular when the Pulitzer prize winning film critic declared that "video games can never be art," all while stubbornly refusing to play any of the great games of the medium. He found it unnecessary to experience an art form before denouncing its entire artistic merit.

"You hate the book, but you just said you never read it - way to pull a Roger Ebert."

The shorter version to call out an "Emotional Bitch" randomly during class/work/school/cafeteria/walmart when the "Emotional Bitch" walks by crying about some drama.

Or, when casually gossipin with your homies, mention the emotional bitch as EB so the people around you don't know who you're talking about.

Pronounced: "eee beee" (e's are pronounced like in the word "need")

"Yo that girl, Sierra, shes such an E.B., why she always be trippin"

"Yo bro i was in class and i yelled E.B. and SHE(eb) turned around and we couldn't help but laugh our asses off"

Educated Black Person; African American college alumni; they are usually politically aware; they enjoy baked chicken, mega churches, jazz, neo-soul, natural hair, organic food, and have undoubtedly attended an HBCU, or they at least know what one is. They also love gated communities to keep out the UEBPs.

An upper-midle class citizen of the Black community is an EBP.

Ebert

A film critic who, and Gene Siskel created the thumbs up system for grading movies. Siskel dies at age 53, and now the show is called Ebert and Roeper. Roger Ebert is a "REAL" film critic, unlike Roeper.

Ebert's style-giving helpful comments to cast of film, or to moviegoers.

Roeper's style- Either saying "I know what your sayin'", or make lame jokes, and laughs at himself.
