The Politician's "You"

Share definition
A practice commonly exercised by politicians, dictators, corporate establishments, salesmen and your parents, where one deliberately substitutes words such as "me", "I" or "oneself" for "you" in order to appear selfless and public-spirited.
Common Politician: "This is what public (you) wants."

Correctly interpreted as "This is what I want." Hence The Politician's "You".

A phrase used to reply to an insult sarcastically or in a manner that would frustrate your foe, especially when you don't have anything else to say.
Used best in chat rooms or multiplayer computer games.
The phrase comes from the small community of Kempshott, where it was used in excess by a small group of teenagers know as the "K-crew".
Geek 1: You got owned...
Dude 1: No that's you!

Geek 2: Shup up!
Dude 1: No that's you!

Teen 1:Your wack at football
K crew member: No that's you!
