A word used usually in response to a variety of things, including bad puns, jokes, ideas, phrases, etc. It's usually given with "the stare." It can sometimes be emphasized by stressing the middle vowel (ie woooonk, where the "o" is pronounced the same way as the first "o" in "octopus"). It can be modified to different forms of the word like: wonky, wonked, wonking, wonkified, or adding adverbs in front like "very wonky."
1. "Quick! Catch your nose!"
"Why?"
"Because it's running!"
"wonk"
2. "I'm wonking you"
3. "major wonk!"
4. "That's a wonky deal"

A state of mind after experiencing that high in a club from the music.
A euphoric feeling.
Music is the drug of choice.

Used to denote people who are or assumed to be quite knowledgeable in at least one particular area of interest and have little or no known in person social life. Generally socially akward.
The current use of WONK is as an acronym popular in the "In" crowd. Possible meanings.
1. Without Normal Knowledge - Possible, but awkward.
2. Weird Ole Nerdy Kid - Has always fit the contexted in which it was used better.
In my experience the second is more probable.
