When you feel so helpless and stupid and you think nothing is ever gonna be good again, and even macaroni and cheese taste like sawdust, and you can't even bother to masturbate because it feels too energy-consuming.

A place that is the border between dreaming and being awake. Everyone remembers the bright red checkerboard tiles the best, and the rooms are filled with people who are vaguely familiar

"S.F. Sorrow" by The Pretty Things is an album written about the circle-of-life of an ordinary WWII veteran - from birth through love to his inevitable delusion. Originally intended to be called "Sergeant Sorrow", it was influenced by a chronicle of short stories written by composer Phil May.
Despite limited media coverage and relatively poor sales, "S.F. Sorrow" is remarked as the world's first rock opera and greatly inspired The Who's "Tommy."
