1. A person, usually a teenager, who acts like a little shit. Shitrats are usually also wangsters, in that they dress and act like thugs. Most shitrats smoke pot and/or drink, and most have or will end up having criminal records. Shitrats enjoy pissing people off, and usually use homophobic or childish insults. Shitrats won't fight unless there are at least ten times as many of them. Shitrats have little regard for other people, preferring to talk down to anyone and everyone, even their shitrat friends. Shitrats usually mature into junkies. The term originated in St. Margaret's Bay, Nova Scotia.

2. A name Jim Lahey gives to Bubbles' cats on Trailer Park Boys, a popular Canadian TV show. Origin of the above term, Bubbles' cats were always getting into shit.

Whipping a Shitty

A common pasttime in rural villages/towns. The shitty itself consists of accelerationg a car as much as possible and cranking the wheel. This usually results in massive fun, melted rubber, and huge track marks. Using a truck makes the feat 2 to 3 times more authentic.
