If you've ever gotten into a different mode of awareness/concentration/feeling when deep in a game and having lots of fun, you know pretty much what this is like. Hence the phrase, "I'm in the Zone!" The only big difference is the Shifter has a definite sense of the animal in their mood. The body temperature may go up a bit.

This effect is best demonstrated when one views Angrypug's stream when *original* alerts are enabled which incites a violent dono war between "Ayaya" and "Witness Me" sounds. This ear-pillaging effect is amplified further when these dono wars occur during Dead by Daylight gameplay.
Even when deafened by the violent Ayaya-Witness Me dono war which induces sensory overload, Angry Pug still plays Dead by Daylight better than console gamers. That's it. That says enough.
