Possum up 

A phrase that can be used two different ways. You can use it to tell some to be laid back about something. Or it can be a way of saying hunker down and get it done.

Mom: You're not supposed to be playing video games on school nights.
son: come on mom just possum up.
Example 2.
guy 1: I have a lot of work to do tonight.
guy 2: I guess you'll just have to possum up and get it done.

Possum stomp

Slang for "opossum stomp".

Wrestling move in which victim is held upside down by the ankles and smashed violently, headfirst, into the ground.

This is a completely justifiable and necessary recourse in the event that one's opponent is "playing opossum", or just being a bitch.

"Boy, I'm gonna' possum stomp your head into your ass," laughed the friendly neighborhood policeman.

Faking ones death or sleep to avoid having to sex with a person.

"My buddy picked up this hottie last night at the bar. But, I had to Possum Flop her fat friend at the end of the night so I wouldn't have to sleep with her".

possum spotter 

Australian slang for someone who has a lazy eye or is cross-eyed. Referring to one eye (or both) pointed upwards in a different direction. It is assumed that the bung eye is tracking the movements of possums in trees.

A close relative of swine flu, except that the person is not really sick, just "playing possum" to stay home.

CDC estimates that over 1/3 of swine flu cases are really possum flu.
