A "Very Special Snowflake" is a person that acts in an extremely weird, angry or autistic way. A "Special Snowflake" is like a "Very Special Snowflake" but they act in less of a weird, angry or autistic way. A "Very Special Snowflake" is also any person who is a member of the "LGBTIQ" community.

In 2018, the song "Baby It's Cold Outside" was pulled from radio stations because snowflake activism deemed it to be sexist and promoted rape culture when in fact, it was an innocent song featuring playful banter written by a man in the 1940's for his wife and himself to sing at parties.
