Irrational Rationalization

"Irrational Rationalization", or "IR", is a commonplace, non-communicable infection of cranial cognition. People whom are exposed to this infection display a number of degraded brain cells, deprivation of motor skills, and failure to comprehend logic. "IR" is displayed when one, online, debates a fairly irrelevant point to an other. Hence the name, rationalization shown by the person infected is at a very low layer of mentality. For example, when the person debates about a sort of social media plot, the host will use derogatory language, such as, "faggot", a slang term created by humans because why not. Hosts also show many usages of deus ex machina, cutting into the other conflicts of people. One more way people exhibit "IR" is by collapsing on their own statements. This is a more widespread way of IR, utilized mostly on social media sites.
"IR" has no specific cure. However, "IR" is usually prevented by:
- Thinking more frequently
- Reading a book instead of performing inane stunts for publicity
- Avoiding putting gelid objects on your head
Psychotherapy sessions may be available for diagnosing "IR", although that is very unlikely.
Person A.: "lel your just jelous because your not smart #hashtagsaresoimportant"
Person B.: "According to this, you're jealous of me for having an advanced education in English. Irrational rationalization's bad."
Person C.: "I agree, Person A should take a diagnosis for the IR infection."

rationable

The thought of adding a new word to the English language was tantalizing and rationable because of its ease.

rational response squad

Group that is out to tell everyone what to believe and what not to believe while apparantly "liberating" everyone from the "Christian lie." basically just pisses people off by being the biggest haters i've ever heard of for little or no gain.
person from rational response squad: excuse me, what religion are you?

normal person: um, I'm a Christian. why?

rrs: well you probably want to convert into some Bible reading zombie then right?

normal person: uh, not really, i kinda just want to spread a little love.

rrs: why won't you bigots leave me alone?

normal person: wait, aren't you the one who brought this up?

rrs: oh there you go again, trying to suck me into your little argument.

normal person: dude, who's arguing, you're the one being a hater. I'm outa here.

rrs: wait, don't you want to see my movie? God's not real! God's not real!

everyone with a brain: wow, what a jerk.

RationalWiki

Once a well respected website that now is filled with atheist extremists, atheist zealots, liberals, moderate leftists who are centrists in denial, enlightenment centrists, centrist extremists, horseshoe theory supporters, neopositivists, scientificists and people who call everything that is not "scientific" nor "materialist" nor "positivist" as "pseudoscience", "antiscience" and "science denial". Attacking all sides and believing everyone is wrong and only their Wiki is right.
RationalWiki is basically Quora in form of a Wiki.

RationalWiki

A website dedicated to debunking misinformation and spreading a liberal version of politics which amuses conservatives because we find it HILARIOUS that liberals got so pissed off by junk such as Conservapedia so as to start their own version of it.(yes, yes, i know that it was conservapedia editors who started RationalWiki, but you get the point.)

Their information on pseudoscience and conspiracy theories is usually excellent, and they're fully willing to call something (such as homeopathy or other alt-med) out as bullshit without getting caught up in trying to be all "encyclopedic" like Wikipedia does.

However, their information on politics is VERY left-leaning. They use ad-hominems and strawmen to misrepresent and degrade anybody even SLIGHLTLY right-of-center, which is funny because they have fine articles about such logical fallacies. They have a tendency to conflate two unrelated things (ex: NoFap and neo-Nazis) so as to make fun of/ mock one of the things in question (NoFap in this circumstance). While a better name would be leftyWiki (remove all the sensible stuff from the wiki in this case), they do have the sense to criticize communism and socialism.

What's funny is how they continually call Donald Trump an anti-semite, despite the fact that his daughter is a Jew (and so is his son-in-law and grandkids), and that he's had the most pro-Israel administration in decades. (Their other criticism about his idiocy at times is on point.)
Stonetoss : *makes amusing comic about how no-fap gives you crazy powers*
RationalWiki : gotEEM!!! he's totally parroting supposed Neo-Nazi stances about how not fapping is a white man's thing (self control and shit). this means he's a NAZI!

rational fear

1. Something big, hairy, and scary. (No, dude, not your penis...I said big :-) ) that can ACTUALLY happen to you, as opposed to an irrational fear.
2. Something not physically scary, but mentally terrifying yet very real...like an "aw, shit" moment.
Examples of rational fears:
That 90 pound Rottweiler that's about to latch onto your ass like it was a big, meaty, steak.

That 15-year old girl's father after he found out you were studying anatomy instead of geometry.

Worrying that you're gonna flunk geometry because you were studying anatomy instead of geometry.
