The acronym standing for Newly Initiated Brothers. When one pledge class in a fraternity gets initiated, the NIBs are still at the bottom of the chain for the few weeks until the new pledges begin.

Sam: Why haven't any of the pledge rides answered their phones.

Bob: They're NIBs. They don't give a fuck any more.

skin nib

A bit of skin that grows on your chest, underarm or face. Usually fat or old people have "skin nibs" on their bodies. Otherwise known as "proud flesh" or a "skin tag". Medically known as 'cutaneous papilloma' or an 'acrochordon'.
