hooding

The act of pulling up the hood of someone wearing a hoodie, then yanking the drawstrings.
He tried to swipe my lunch, so my friends and I decided to use hooding as our method of revenge. It was funny as hell to see him flailing around!

hoarding

A term that refers to both the attempt to "hoard" more screen time (that can be obtained) from parents and the panic buying that occurred on Friday, March 13th, 2020, right before the COVID-19 lockdown. This term highlighting a sense of urgency and accumulation in both contexts.
Kids trying to negotiate extra screen time are just hoarding it like people did with toilet paper during the pandemic!

patient hoarding

Keeping patients coming back for as long as you can, for the rest of their lives if at all possible. The goal is to keep a steady stream of patients coming in, by keeping as many patients on your list as possible, so as to maximize your weekly income. You don't want to completely cure them, or they might decide they don't need you anymore. You just need to make them feel like they're making progress, slowly but surely.

Psychiatrists and therapists are especially notorious for this. They will often make you feel that your condition is incurable, although treatable. Of course, some people, including those with chemical imbalances, may need a lifelong course of treatment. But some others, who may just be going through a difficult time in their lives, may not.

Some doctors do want to see their patients get cured and move on, if possible. But some (the patient hoarders) want to keep as many patients coming back as possible, for as long as possible.
As long as this doctor continues her practice of patient hoarding, you will have to make appointments well in advance because she will be booked solid for weeks, or even months, at a time.

Vaccine hoarding

Vaccine hoarding is a lot like toilet paper hoarding when the pandemic started, it's silliness. There's enough vaccines to go around for the rest of the world to the people that want to get one just like there was enough toilet paper to go around for everybody at the start of the pandemic, then a few people hoarded the supply and tried to sell it for outrageous prices on ebay. The vaccine hoarding is really about power and control, not about protecting a population.
It helps no one to vaccinate everyone in one country while no one from another country has been vaccinated, since all you are really giving people is a placebo and a false sense of hope/morale boost when they get a shot in their arm. The virus is everywhere, not just in the countries that got the most vaccines, so vaccine hoarding won't really do anybody any good. The countries that got excessive amounts of vaccines they don't need might as well get rid of their vaccines if they are not going to give them to countries that could use them.

Robin Hooding

Similar to the classic trope of Robin Hood or another skilled archer splitting an arrow with another, Robin Hooding is the act of running erect-penis-first into an ass, and then a second penis wielder running dick-first into the previous runner's ass.
Listen, when my fiancé agreed to a threesome, I didn't expect to go Robin Hooding with a guy twice my size.
