Respect is earned not given

Contrary to popular belief, it does not mean that you don't need to give a fuck about people unless they simp for you. instead, it means that you don't need to give complete respect to everyone you meet, but you still need to give some respect and give at least a single shit for the homeless.

Jimmy told me he stands by the phrase 'Respect is earned not given' I instantly dumped him.

Earned My Spade

This is a situation where someone accomplishes something of little to no value or importance, or fails miserably. Extra bonus points are given if the "accomplishing" party is proud of the non-accomplishment or failure.

As Jimmy stood up from his Quaker oatmeal, he noticed a warm sensation in his pants as he had wet himself. Jimmy laughed and proclaimed with pride, "Oops I earned my spade!"

Generally a very awesome person. Eärendil's enjoy nature, animals, and music. Eärendil's love chocolate, and are often times referred to as Hippies. Eärendil's are incredibly rare and are always liked by many people.

Eärendil's can come off as wise-asses, and most times are very sarcastic to those deserving of it.
