In Shadowrun for the Xbox 360/PC, you can "bleed-out" just like in Gears of War. In Crackdown, in the russian guy's territory, in the city there is a giant hand holding a gear, a gear like in Gears of War. These are examples of 6 Degrees to Gears of War

the idea that every task you put off doing is on average approximately six steps away from any other task you need to do, so that a chain of, "I didn't take out the trash so I can't clean out the fridge" statements can be made, on average, to connect any two tasks in six steps or fewer.

Putting the term 89 degrees in front of another word negates the following word. The term is the basis in which only 90 degrees is the true being of something. Anything referred to as being 89 degrees of (insert work) is therefore not the thing being referred to.
