Cybernetic Procrasturbation

Willful and enjoyable procrastination that is predominantly performed through the use of internet-based sources of distraction. Basically, anything electronic that holds your attention from completing necessary tasks.
i.e. social media, Reddit, shopping, and gaming (vidya).

"I wasted four hours on cybernetic procrasturbation today and now I can't finish this report for my boss on time!"

Cybervert: The tendency to be more outgoing and expressive in online interactions with artificial intelligence systems and technology, compared to in-person interactions with other humans. This behaviour can reflect a greater comfort level with technology and a shift in social norms towards digital communication.

cybervert

Someone who is generally introverted in the real world but finds the cyber world a safe place where s/he can open up and live a virtually active and extroverted life, gathering friends, socializing and sharing thoughts in a way that s/he cannot do outside the cyber world. This person may have perceived hang ups, addictions, vulnerabilities, inadequacies, or personality issues that get in the way of socializing in the real world that are not as apparent online, or maybe it's just more fun.

Though Bob was often thought of as being socially awkward, he was actually a cybervert who socialized like a rockstar on line, gathering hundred's of fb friends a month.

cyberdeath

Online death.

Also: A nickname I came up with many years ago after playing First-Person Shooters (namely Counter-Strike). It expresses what happens in these games.

When you play an online FPS, when you die...you experience cyberdeath. Also, if you did something atrocious online you could also be considered to have committed cyberdeath.

After writing that horrible article, I think I'm going to experience cyberdeath.
