adjective: the word used to describe yourself when you are feeling 'so-so' and kinda sorta not really wanting to do anything.

noun: 1. mediocre feelings towards a physical activity.

2. a word used in scrabble when you have the letters M, E, and H and you cant think of a word like HEM.

"Hey Don, how are you doing?"
reply- "...Meh."

Used when one is happy, sad, excited, etc.
Usually used when one is irritated, however.

It is becoming quite a common occurance in the vocabulary of Western Pennsylvanian school students.

Student 1: "You're such a bitch, Haley."
Student 2: "MEH, Caitrin. Mehhhhh."

or

Boyfriend: "Melissa, this just isn't working out."
Girlfriend: "But..But...MEHHH="

meh-gutting

Taking a popular franchise like Star Wars or Doctor Who and making it boring by turning it into progressive propaganda device. Typically it features unrealistically competent "minority" groups like female lead of Force Awakens or Last Jedi, the character being so characteristic, simplistic and cartoonish that it generates its own popular names, like "Mary Sue" in this case.

Mary Sue got her Jedi training by Luke completed in one day. Man, what a meh-gutting!
