A concept that flips the idea of a personal "carbon footprint" on its head by analyzing the systemic, macro-level structures that determine an individual's environmental impact. If your carbon footprint is about your personal choices, the Carbon Region is about the neighborhood, city, or country you're born into—the pre-existing conditions you have no control over.
