Honeymoon effect

This is the feeling you get when your around a person you are just starting to get to know on a deeper level. Its the warm fuzzies inside, the "everything is good with this person" feeling..and it makes you think of nothing else but that time right then and there. The honeymoon effect is something you want to last a long time..but your afraid that soon it will dissapear...which ushually it does, and subsides to a deeper and more knowledgable love of the other person. When the honeymoon effect is gone...it just gets started, and gets better!

My soon to be boyfriend told me "see..they call what we are experiencing the honeymoon effect"..and I think he was secretly wanting this feeling to last forever.

Jay-Z Effect

The art of hiding ones true aesthetic appearance by means of wearing a fitted and/or large sunglasses. This action is often accompanied by a series of select poses that distract onlookers from ones actual facial construction.

A: Damn that boy looks good...
(he removes fitted)
L: Oh shit, he toook off that hat! Damn he is mothafucking ugly!
A: Oh man. It must have been the Jay-Z Effect. Gets me everytime!

When a player is made to look better than he really is due to the ability of the point guard. The player will in turn be overpaid. When they are left without the same quality of point guard, everyone will realize how overrated the player was.

Gomlich Effect

The Gomlich effect is used to describe the consequences of a girl screaming in cheer, particularly for a boyband.

The term was coined in 2000 by fictional character "Chef" in Comedy Central's South Park when consulting Eric Cartman on how to make his boyband Fingerbang popular.

According to Chef, "The Gomlich effect is the law of physics which states that if one girl screams for something, it will make other girls scream, and it will grow exponentially until all girls within a five-mile radius are screaming."

The boys wanted to become famous by using the Gomlich Effect.

Cheerleader Effect

Effect where when 3 or more women are located in a bar, pub etc scene together, they appear together as a good looking bunch, but when viewed individually, are actually unattractive. Thought to only be in effect with groups of women, but actually in effect with both sexes.

cheerleader effect where altogether the cheerleading team looks attractive but on closer inspection is quite ugly, the spice girls, the group of women who dance in a circle at the bar-usually with a pile of purses in the middle, occurs at any canadian fraternity common room where all together the men look hot but when checked out are actually bunk ass.

piranha effect

The exponential effect of communicating a focused message through many different forms of advertising media with a very persuasive effect on beliefs and behavior.

The advertising campaign was communicated through a microsite, social media venues, viral video, print, grassroots events and out of home media. The Piranha Effect was amazing.

Wasabi Effect

A phenomenon described by the sudden and rapid transference of wasabi from the inside of someone's mouth to their eye. Causes inflamation and redness of the eye.

Also known to cause a flailing of limbs, and expletive phrases to shoot forth from the subject's mouth in panic.

Subject: "I was crunching wasabi peas and one just shot out of my mouth into my eye! Fuck!"
Observer: "The Wasabi Effect in practice. Go wash your eye out."
