Like the Friend Zone, only the Person in the 'Phone Zone' Is relegated almost exclusively to Phone Calls/iMessage/Snapchat etc.

So She cancelled the date without saying anything, didn't bother to apologize or reschedule, but wanted to facetime for god-knows how long...hoe tryna Phone Zone me lmao.

phone neck

This is the form of a bad habit, which is caused by the actions of constantly looking down for long periods of time at smart phones (iOS, Android, etc.) that eventually results with neck pain, or feeling as if one's neck is strained from being in an uncomfortable position. Phone neck isn't a common problem now, but with technology constantly advancing, and with new innovative ideas for communicating and entertainment on the rise in most modern societies, this will be a reoccurring problem with most people. This all started with the millennials.

BobbyJo: Damn mad, I was talking to Lisa the other day and she completely ignored me since she was on her damn phone. Then she said her neck has been hurting out of the blue.

Who was phone?

oK so basicaly its like this. youare at a friends house for like the night or watever and then you guys are making out on the couch (yeah!) and then like.. her dad calls on the phone and says “no i she likes it more if you use the other hand… yeah” and your alllike “oh dude your dad is trying to give me advice on how to diddle you” and then she’s like… “i don’t have a dad..” or whatever… but what!? WHO WAS PHONE?

Person one: so this person called me yesterday and sai-
Person two: but then... Who was phone?
Person one: Richard my dads dead
Person two: Who. Was. Phone.

The larger than normal space left between cars in traffic by drivers using their smart phones.

The line at the drive thru was wrapped around the building because of all the phone gaps.

Phone vulture

A person who spends the entire day waiting for a phone call, usually darting their eyes to the phone every few seconds to see if it would start magically ringing. Like a vulture, whenever someone else would like to make a phonecall or receive one, the phone-vulture screams at them to "keep the freaking lines open", and on most occasions rears up to attack.

For cellphone-users, people usually look at the screen every two minutes to see the time, and check their inbox for any unread text-messages.

Fred: Did you see how Jenny was waiting around the phone like that? My grandmother is calling today and she won't let me use it.

Carol: Oh, yeah. She had a one night stand with Tom and he's supposed to call her. Of course he never will, but you know how much of a phone vulture she can be.

The person that you call while settling in for a significant drive who is always ready to chat on the phone with you until you get to your intended destination.

I had a commute from hell yesterday, it sucked balls, thank goodness I had Sally for a phone bitch to pass the time.
