Battered Liberal

A term coined by conservative talkshow host Rush Limbaugh to describe the way that liberal voters are constantly promised numerous things by elected Democrats despite their history of using them for votes(this is especially true of ethnic minorities) yet making their lives more miserable in much the same way that a battered wife is promised compassion from her abusive husband only to have him hit her again, yet she keeps coming back to him since she feels there is nowhere else to turn.

The Battered Liberal still thinks that Hillary Clinton will fix the country despite failing at Hillary Care when her husband was in office, supporting communist nations like China, and her endless collection of pants suits

twitter liberal

n. Someone who, after seeing an anti-conservative trend on twitter, tweets with the hash-tag in question with no clear knowledge of anything political. Usually will include in the tweet something along the lines of: misspelled words, inaccurate statements, blind praise of a political figure (notably praise for Obama for being black), etc. A majority of these people give other liberals who actually have valid opinions a bad name and only tweet with the hash-tag as a means to gain followers due to their shallowness.

Molly: "Oh my God! I can't wait for Obama to come give me free abortion pills!"

Joe: "Molly, shut up. The president doesn't have that power, stop being a twitter liberal."

buzzfeed liberal

A privileged person who calls out other people for not being sensitive enough because they dont share his/her views based solely on what buzzfeed describes as cool or acceptable. They get triggered and offended by anything that might contradict their own point of view and will always find silly things to whin about while doing nothing to fix real issues

lawn sign liberal

A person who professes support for progressive causes (including Black Lives Matter, environmentalism, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, etc.) or political candidates by placing a lawn sign in their front yard while taking no other action to support these causes/candidates which will meaningfully contribute to advance of their goals.

Person 1: "Is Bill planning to canvass for Jimmy Carter?"
Person 2: "Nope."
Person 1: "What about sending postcards for Planned Parenthood?"
Person 2: "Nope."
Person 1: "So, how is Bill planning to help?"
Person 2: "Well, he put a sign in his yard. I guess he's just a lawn sign liberal."
