A fundamnentalist could refer to someone who either is super-seriously opposed to profanity, or laces his Bible-thumping rhetoric with assorted "adjectives" dat do not truly add anything meaningful to said tirades, and generally serve to just turn listeners away, especially those with young impressionable children.
