The students are so far past caring about school it defeats the purpose of even showing up. But we still do. Be thankful for the extra effort.
- Everyone hates being in the prison-like building but if school spirit is brought up you can see a mood change in .2 seconds because who wouldn't want to scream E-A-S-T East East East at the top of their lungs. Right?
- The teachers in our school are cool. Not much more than that. There are ones everyone knows and secretly wishes they would go away but we are "nice" and wouldn't even dream of such a thing. Some are special because they know how to be a normal human being in the confined space of their classroom and not make every student depressed
- Let's get one thing straight... the personality of our school is like an old woman in crocs on a beach during a rain storm complaining about the sun. That doesn't make sense. Exactly. We are a world of confusion. I mean how are we suppose to know our schedule if our own school district is clueless.
- In our school the word locker hits hard. It has a special meaning that only our school knows it by. It's supposed to be a noun but it's a verb and is used in the context of "Oh, I have to locker before my next class". It simply means the action of going to your locker. And you can think you won't conform to such a grammatically disgusting trend. But then a week later you are already fluently speaking the language of East.

a town in eastern-central Connecticut. Residents often have to explain that no, they don't live in the Hamptons, or in Massachusetts. known for making all sorts of bells, the nickname is Belltown and the high school's masot is the bellringer, or a man with a three cornered hat from the american revolution ringing a bell that looks strangely like a pirate. the redneck population is slowly increasing in east hampton, and people have been known to come "out of the woods" for its well known Old Home Day celebration. The town's high school and very nearby portland high school have an intense, and very bloody rivalry, especially in soccer. lake pocotopaug, although very green, is a wonderful place to swim, and participate in water sports of all types.

Get the Easter Worshipper mug.A strange urban collection of hyperactive, semi rational individuals. None of them posess their own washing machine, and most of them only own two sets of clothing. Some characters in fact wear clothing which was handed down through the generation, from the 1980s.
Characters are mostly unemployed, for they spend most of their day in a tiny square. Nothing like this actually exists in the eastend of london, which is actually very large, cosmopolitan, with large streets, large roads, and large communities of various ethnic groups.
On eastenders this is not reflected, it is perhaps stuck in the public imagination of the eastend in the 1950s. The storylines are not well thought out, the acting is childish, and it reflects a place firmly in the imagination of the British public.
The eastend of London today, is made up of asian, white and black ethnic groups, with brick lane mostly asian.
It is not really reflective of multi ethnic London, despite the occasional crazy black or asian family who arrive, to live alongside the mostly crazy white families.
Its imaginary stuff.
