Starbucks Liberal

A "liberal" who is actually not one. Typically drinks frappachinos, reads the New York Times, drives a Prius, and listens to NPR. Votes for any Democrat, regardless of actual position on policy, for an endless list of reasons, most of which are unexamined and fallacious. Considers him or herself a radical, a progressive, and believes in grassroots causes without actually supporting any.
Too bad all those Starbucks Liberals decided John Kerry should be the Democratic nominee in 2004.

The City/Urban Liberal Types (CULT)

The C.U.L.T.
Affected by the disease of ease, poisoned by the deterioration of all the man-made materials they've chosen to surround themselves with, these zombie-like creatures that are incapable of naturally providing for themselves seek to lay all their problems at the feet of big-daddy-government to be "taken care of".
They've been fully propagandized by the government, it's big tech media arm, and the ever broadening promises from their authoritarian liberal "leaders" of "freeshit" (especially those Biden supplied free crack pipes)
Typical example of how their manufactured-rage filled, smooth brains work - "I don't need truckers, I get my food at the grocery store!"
The City/Urban Liberal Types (CULT) have no idea how to actually survive, and are in some serious deep shit when the solar flare hits.
The CULTs have no business pushing the authoritarian bullshit on real people who make the world go round.

Wine and Cheese Liberal

Wine and Cheese Liberals are affluent, live in tony suburbs, and drive SUVs, but vote Democratic. They "support" public education, but send their own kids to private school. Their opinions are politically correct, and are usually expressed as fashion statements rather than as analytical observations.
I was in Whole Foods yesterday, and saw a Wine and Cheese Liberal buying some arugula.

limousine liberal

Limousine liberal (or latte liberal) is a deragatory term used to describe a rich liberal who considers themself a champion of the poor and downtrodden, but lives a lifestyle of wealth and luxury.

Limousine liberals can usually be identified by any combination of the following behavior:

- They support gun control, but they go everywhere surrounded by armed bodyguards.

- They have a soft-on-crime stance, but they live in gated, private communities where there is no threat of crime.

- They tell people to ride bikes and use public transportation to reduce oil consumption, while themselves traveling around the world in private jets and rented luxury SUVs.

- They join organizations like PETA because they believe that killing animals is wrong, but they wear expensive leather belts and shoes.

Limousine liberal is mostly an American term. In Austrialia, an equivalent term is "chardonnay socialist", while in France the equivalent term is gauche caviar (caviar left).
"Famous limousine liberals include such people as Arianna Huffington, Michael Moore, Martin Sheen, Jane Fonda, Sean Penn, and Barbra Streisand."

Neo-Liberal

Neoliberalism refers to a political-economic philosophy that has had major implications for government policies beginning in the 1970s and increasingly prominent since 1980– that de-emphasizes or rejects government intervention in the economy, focusing instead on structured free-market methods, and fewer restrictions on business operations and that the most important class of rights to expand are those of property enforcement, and of opening nations to entry by multinational corporations. In a broader sense it is used to describe the movement towards using the market to achieve a wide range of social ends previously filled by government.
It is generally hostile to protectionism, social democracy and socialism. It is often at odds with fair trade and other movements that argue that labor rights and social justice should have a greater priority in international relations and economics.

A stark contrast to the earlier entry.
The Democrats in America are nothing more than a bunch of Neo-liberals, and the Republicans are freaking Neo-cons!
