Teencore

A sub-genre of music combining sounds of Teen-pop with goth, metal, or dark styles of rock. Written by writers usually in their late teens or early twenties, and is marketed toward teenagers, in turn, often appearing on MTV, Fuse, or VH1. Not to be confused with Emo(but may both attribute to an Artist), Lyrical themes consist of overly-dramatizations of lovers or overly-dramatic hate towards ex-lovers meant to be profound yet simple enough for the average teenager to apprehend. Musical themes often consist of a slow beat and vocals then suddenly a fast paced climax with catchy beats.

Most popular examples of bands incorporating the teencore sound include Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic! at the Disco.

Or at least that's the story from the cult of Scientology. You can pay Scientology thousands of dollars and they will drive the spirits of Xenu's victims (called "Thetans") from your body and you will reach a higher state of being. Or at least that's what they say.

Xenu put his excess population into volcanoes on Teegeeack and then blew them up with nuclear weapons.
