A Ginger Chicken is defined as a person who will subvert other people's attempts to have sex with a potential partner, with the full intention of taking said candidate for themselves.

The term originates from nature, where black and white male chickens will fight over a single hen. Whilst this is occurring, the ginger chicken will take advantage of the distraction, and proceed to make sweet lovin' to the hen from behind.
