Religion

A belief that there is more to life than what is immediately observable. Often includes one or more beings of omnipotent or nearly omnipotent powers. Originally created to explain why things happen and later maintained to create a moral code for people to follow. As less people believe in religions such as christianity, the need for it becomes less.

Biggest bullshit ever that has people believing that foregivness is given by god from praying when in reality the only person that can foregive you is the one you hurt. Also people like to think its something you have and that god is there for you in a time of need like when your grandma died the person there for you was a friend or loved one not god to make you feel better.

one of the many institutions that the denizens of the internet wish to debunk. Everyone needs to feel superior somehow, and if you can prove you're better than a great segment of the world population, then you will most likely engage in an activity similar to what's been done here.

Any of the definitions here that implicate a belief as being absolutely false and those who believe it stupid and inferior.

Similar to rascism but when one person hates another because of their religion (religism). Religious intolerance.

The recent protests against Islam is an example of religism.
