albatross

A metaphor for a dead weight or burden that one must carry, especially when the burden is not a literal one but a stigma of some kind that one cannot easily discard or throw off. The name comes from a story about a sailor who killed an albatross that was following his ship, an act thought to bring bad luck upon the ship. His fellow sailors made him wear the dead albatross around his neck as penance to ward off the bad luck.

Joe: I have wonderful news! I finally got laid last night!

Jim: Congrats, man! Doesn't it feel good to not have that albatross around your neck any more?

albino deer

A move that involves hiding in a girl's closet with a flashlight and warming yourself up. When you are all ready to go you jump out of the closet and shine the flash light in her eyes and jizz on her face. This results in a "deer in the headlights" look as well as an albino complexion.

Tree: hey man can i borrow a flashlight?
Bonesaw: why do you want a flashlight?
Tree: I was going to go albino deer this chick later.
Bonesaw: cool

Albedo

Albedo is an artificial construct referred to as a U.R.T.V. He possesses incredible otherworldly powers that allow him to actually regrow severed limbs, up to and including his head. Albedo seems to be working for the U-TIC Organization, but it's more likely that he has his own agenda.

Albedo has descended so far into madness that he can no longer even be described as human. He shares deep familial roots with both Gaignun Kukai (Nigredo) and Jr. (Rubedo). Sick and twisted beyond belief, Albedo is the main antagonist in Monolith Soft's famed Xenosaga series.

Hello Albuquerque

an expletive yelled at a person who gave in and did something they were adamant they were NOT going to do under ANY circumstances. Coined by Ozzy Osbourne in the following:
Ozzy Osbourne: "I will NOT play Albuquerque next week Sharon! I can't do it! I've got too many shows already! I just won't do it!"
Next scene, Ozzy yelling into a mic: "Hello Albuquerque!"

Janice was adamant that she would not attend her brother's hockey game, yet there she is in the stands. Hello Albuquerque!!
