Spoonman

Spoonman is a mythological being that takes the form of a great white shark that breathes air and swims through the air of dense forests. They sustain themselves through hunting deer and small elk. Mostly found in the colder regions of North America, they are a rare sight and dangerous to most unprepared travellers.

Spoonburner

A derogatory term for a supporter of Hibernian FC (Football Club). The term originally referred to an abuser of heroin, as in, how the drug was “cooked” on a spoon. The cross reference to Hibernian FC is due to the content of the Irvine Welsh novel Trainspotting (and movie) which was primarily based in and around the Leith area which is home to Hibernian FC.

From Leith are you? You must be spoonburner then.
