softball

Sport played on many different levels. In lower levels game is generally played for roughly 90 mins playing 5 innings. in collegiate and olympic levels games usually last 2 to 3 hours and are played generally in 7 innings. HItters are forced to hit balls moving 60-70mph usually with alot of movement and also change speeds. Same concepts as baseball but many different ones such as slappers and coverages. Pitchers pitch from 43 feet which leaves less reaction time. although not commonly seen as much of a contact sport there are many collisions and injuries where a person may break a bone, get cleated, dive into a fence, hit by a pitch, etc. Bases are only 60 feet which means reactions must be faster and you have less time to make plays. Although not as much endurance is needed you must have fast twitch muscles and be able to do alot of sprinting

Joe: Did you see the softball game last night?

Bob: Yeah those girls did a great job, those pitchers really made that ball move.

Church league softball team

Typically a group of heavy drinkers with marginal athletic ability, who managed to stay sober long enough to organize a team and occasionally a roster. Players wear matching uniforms to make the parking lot drinking location easy for teammates to find. Games are usually held in the evening hours so that pre-game drinking can be carried over after the conclusion of the day’s activities to after-game drinking without the interruption of sleep. All activities are held under the guise of a church function promoting fellowship and comroderie in the local religious community. Note: Not be confused with “Ringer Church league softball team” whereas the team actually is steroidal athletic and non-religious.

Scott asked me to join the Church league softball team. After checking with my Alcoholics Anonymous partner, I was told on no uncertain terms to become an atheist if I wanted to stay sober.

Softboy

Not to be confused with fuckboy, although extremely similar. Often seen as the male version of “i’m not like other girls.” They probably listen to artists like the 1975, Tame Impala, Hippo Campus and wear lots of sweaters. They consider their taste in music to be a personality trait. Regardless of appearance, a softboy will make a girl feel sorry for him and treat her well long enough to get what he wants (usually sex), then he’ll drop her and move on to the next girl. Oftentimes they have zero communication skills and are compulsive liars. They usually use their alternative music taste/style/aesthetic as a way to attract girls with similar tastes, rather than being “basic” like your average fuckboy.

Sift

To cupcake or spend valuable time flirting/charming/fucking/etc with another person. Sifters ignore everything else in the world including family, friends, money, fun, other partners, and in serious cases work. Sifting is a serious condition that should not be taken lightly and should be addressed immediately upon diagnosis.

Berby likes to sift all day and all night, drinking wine with his love.

I tried to get him to go to the city but he said he would be too busy sifting in his bedroom.

fastpitch softball

The best sport ever to play. A team of dedicated, tough, bas ass girls with great bodies. We're not all lesbians, some of us are very feminine outside of practice. It trakes grit and patience.
