Legal-industral complex (n): The tendancy for a system of laws to become self-reinforcing and ever-increasingly complicated in order to provide continual employment for legal professionals. The legal-industrial complex is especially prominent in the United States, where a disproportionately high number of educated individuals choose to become lawyers as a default career path and/or attend law school without having much idea of what they actually want to do with a law degree, the result of which is a lawyer for roughly every hundred people.

Joe Bob: "Have you decided what to do with your liberal arts degree yet?"

Mary Jane: "Well, in an economy like this, there are no jobs available for people with my training. So I guess I'll go to law school."

Joe Bob: "Wow, you're going to become part of the legal-industrial complex."

A person in his late 20's or older who is dating a minor aged 16-18 years old.

A cocktail made famous by Brathaus on the campus of Bowling Green State University. It consist of 1oz amaretto, rum, and vodka topped off with orange juice. Usually ordered in batches of 10, and chugged by the users.

Legal in the Czech Republic 

Term used to excuse actions which, in your own country, are illegal. Because everything is legal in the Czech Republic.

In other words, it's legal somewhere, so it must be OK to do it.

(Should not be used as a guide when visiting the Czech Republic, which probably does have one or two laws).

Edith: Quentin, you just ran a red light!
Quentin: Don't worry, it's legal in the Czech Republic.

Someone who does all the work for a successful lawyer. The Legal Assistant gets in trouble anytime there is a mistake even though its the lawyers job to carefully proof read everything. Many legal assistants are underpaid and overworked. They tend to be very good looking because lawyers are horny pervs who like to look at sexy women all day long.

A legal assistant does more work then a lawyer.
