Typically used in character based role-playing; to coerce a character into sleeping with yours by only revealing vital ‘turn on’ information when it is too late to turn back, usually used against laid-back, go with the flow role-players who want to develop the story; to forcefully start an erotic role-play (ERP) with the other role-player/s’ consent but with poor timing. Also used to start poor character relationships with people who don’t want to seem rude.

‘How was your role-play with Randal?’

When dumb scientists use their "smart papers" (ie: physicists with PhDs vs real engineers who actually develop progress) and use clickbait techniques in skewing searches with academic archives with intent of creating artificial interests for monetary/career/contrarian reasons.

Something David Dobrik and the vlog squad use on all of their vlogs. David has even made merch baised on the fact he uses clickbait. Clickbait is something that draws you in to click on it, to watch a video to see if it actually happens: example "OMG this landed him in the hospital!" So you click on it to see what happens, when in reality it never happened.

Omg that video said he shaved his head so I clicked on it, he never shaved his head.. I so got clickbaited
