CERN

CERN is the "Organisation européenne pour la recherche nucléaire", or "European Organization for Nuclear Research".

CERN, located on the France-Swiss border, near Geneva, It is the world's largest research centre for particle physics.

CERN's efforts are now primarily focused on the construction and completion of the Large Hadron Collider, or LHC. The 27 kilometre particle accelerator/collider will become the world's most powerful.

Using the LHC (to be completed in 2007) CERN hopes to set and study conditions very close to those shortly after the Big Bang. They hope to answer questions such as: "What is Mass? Are there extra dimensions? Are there violations between the symmetry of matter and antimatter?"

Numerous CERN physicist have been awarded Nobel Prizes, and CERN is reconized as the creator of the World Wide Web.

20 countries currently contribute to CERN's efforts.

The answers to the universe's biggest questions lie in the universe's tiniest particles.

Cerenity

A beautiful girl with terrific green eyes. Girl who knows what she wants and then takes it, stubborn but cute. She doesn't like drama, she try's to keep peace between friends. Only lies when it's protecting someone. Goes great with someone who wants to be with her, not to nice but treats her good.

Cérnita

Italian slang for a dangerous sex game in which the woman is the master and the man is the slave. The woman picks an object in the room and sticks it in the man's butt. Cérnita means selection in Italian language. In this case the selection is the one of the object picked by the woman. Be careful with Italian women saying "Ti faccio una cérnita", "I make you a selection".

Giovanna: "Ti faccio una cérnita stasera" - "I make you a cérnita tonight"
Marco: "No grazie, stasera preferisco andare al cinema con i miei amici" - "No thanks, tonight I'd rather go to the movies with my friends"

Pietro: "Ciao Marco, come stai?" - "Hi Marco, how are you doing?"
Marco: "Non molto bene. Ho difficoltà a camminare perchè Giovanna mi ha fatto una cérnita ieri sera" - "Not very well. I'm struggling to walk 'cause Giovanna made me a cérnita last night"
