Simply epic is defined as living an epic life in a simple way.

Like that definition, its simple, yet epic.^

"I moved to South America, Europe, and Africa throughout my life, but led a simple life. I lived in hostels, people's couches, vans, and shacks." It was simple because of how I lived but epic because of where I lived and why I was there.
