Random acts of silence

When something occurs that makes everybody stop talking and pay attention to the situation. Usually funny and very embarrassing. Can happen in a large group or a small intimate setting. Usually has something to do with racism.

Becky: This party is awesome.
Ray: Yeah its alright. Its a little dark in here though, if you know what I mean?
Becky: I could ask him to turn the lights up.
Ray: I mean there are a lot of coons in here.

silent laughing

Laughing so hard that the voice box shuts down and the body jerks around in spasmatic efforts to make a noise.

Anneliese, watching from her bed, was in the middle of one of those spasms of SILENT LAUGHING that wrack your body with convulsions and render you unable to make a single noise. You're like a whacked-out mime immitating a gleeful chimpanzee who just threw a handful of faeces at someone from behind the bars at the zoo.

People who pretend to support you but secretly wish for you to fail; people who are haters, but don't speak up because they know the person they secretly 'hate' on has real talent and is going somewhere therefore they remain silent until they can find a reason to hate out loud.

This girl smiles in my face, but talks behind my back. She's a silent hater by definition.

Very beautiful. Petite. Hispanic, mexican orientation. Athletic. Big smile. Brown eyes and thick dark hair. Often complimented on looks. Stands out most in crowd of people. Loyal and honest friend. Often blunt but smiles at the same time. Not confrontational but if your dishonest or disloyal she will simply and easily disregard you and you will no longer be priority. Most people are afraid to be rude or be confrontational with her. She is very intelligent. Analytical and logical about most controversial topics. Animals and kids love her. Loves to laugh, be silly and dance. Very outgoing and likes to meet new people, experience new places and things. Very ambitious and usually have plan for everything. Likes to think about things in advance and be ahead on deadlines. Often keep to their selves about personal experiences and conflicts but confide in people she trusts the most; which are rare. Takes sweet time getting ready to do anything! Often thinks very highly of themselves but hardly ever boasts. Very confident. Some may think she is cocky or cold but once you get to know her she is most humble, down to earth girl you meet. Cares alot for family and is very family oriented. If you ever meet a Salena, never let her go outta sight! :)
