A derogatory term that mostly 4Chan users and/or incels use towards transgender males, who transition from female to male. The term's origin date is unknown.
The word comes from "poon", which is a word used to refer to a vagina.

An AFAB transgender person who has unsuccessfully, or has convinced themselves, that they appear masculine to others. Pooner is usually used in a derogatory connotation and refers to a very obviously non-passing transgender man or trans masculine individual. Similar to the slur Hon for non passing trans women.

"Yeah, his name is Aiden, and he looks like a fucking pooner."
