Derived from bushism, a quote from vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin that makes the nation shake their head and wonder, "Why?"
"Well, let's see. There's -- of course -- in the great history of America rulings there have been rulings." -- Sarah Palin, unable to name a Supreme Court decision she disagreed with other than Roe vs. Wade, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

Get the palinism mug.Someone that supports Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin as a vice-presidential candidate in the November 2008 Presidential Elections. Palin has been heavily criticized because of her lack of experience and her own label of "hockey mom." She has also been scrutinized for her "BS" responses, referring to her essentially substance-less responses during the Vice-Presidential debate and various interviews. Her status as vice-president is significant because of her running mate John McCain's old age and the possibility of him passing away in office.
Palinists don't really have that much sense since Sarah Palin was only picked to further John McCain's attempt to reach out and gain the support of woman voters.

Get the Palomino mug.An updated version of McCarthyism, which takes its name from the late Sen. Joseph McCarthy, the Wisconsin liar, demagogue and drunk, and means, according to Wikipedia, "reckless, unsubstantiated accusations, as well as demagogic attacks on the character or patriotism of political adversaries." As far as we know, Sarah Palin is not a drunk.
