Philan is taken from philanthropy, which means goodwill to fellow members of the human race especially : active effort to promote human welfare. 2a : an act or gift done or made for humanitarian purposes. b : an organization distributing or supported by funds set aside for humanitarian purposes.

Gelist is taken from evangelist, which means a person who seeks to convert others to the Christian faith, especially by public preaching for good.

So Philangelist meanings is the person who is doing good for others through is giving/charitable work.
