When your talking to a person and they start going off about a comic book hero or video game and all you can do is nod and pretend you understand what they are saying

Girl 1: Hey! how was your weekend?
Girl 2: Oh fun. i was busy dodging lightning bolts in the thunder plains

Girl 3: wha...?
Girl 2: Oh you see i have to dodge them 200 times in order to get the venus sigil and... (blah blah blah)

Girl 1: oh look there she goes nerding off again

Nursing Student

There are three subtypes of nursing students:
1. The nursing student who is decked head-to-toe in lulu lemon, whose mom or aunt is a nurse, who is addicted to coffee and has a slight partying problem. Associated with anxiety and tidy notes.

2. The LGTBQ+ nursing student who is extremely outgoing for everyone except the one clinical instructor who is a total lazy useless beotch. Associated with the straight type-3 nursing student.

3. The nursing student who wears sweats and sneakers to lecture every day. Male type-3 may have hockey hair, female type-3 will have shoulder-length hair. Associated with messy notes, messy bedrooms, and plant obsessions.

Did you see Abby? She is a total type-1 nursing student, she even wore lulu socks to the gym yesterday!

Wow, Jamie is a total type-2 nursing student, they're so nice! But I saw them roll their eyes at instructor Mike the other day, that was priceless.

NERDING

To go "nerding" means that you and a few buddies drive around grounds (aka campus) after a long night of drinking (with a sober driver of course...usually a pledge) between the hours of bars closing and frat parties ending (2-5 am), and proceed to ask drunk 1st years going back to dorms and nerdy foreign kids leaving the various libraries, where a certain library on grounds is located. The catch is that you have to butcher the name of the library slightly, so that the victim of the joke corrects you. Once the victim does this, you and the rest of the fellas in the SUV proceed to yell "NERRRRDDD" to the kid while speeding off to the next contestant.

NERDING:

The driver pulls up to the unsuspecting victim and someone in the car asks: "Hey man, do you know where we could find Akerman Library?"

The dumb victim responds (usually hesitant): "Don't you mean Alderman Library?"

Everyone then yells: "NERRRRRRRRRRRDD" and the car speeds away.
