An expression that originated in Gaborone, Botswana.
A Gabs Goodbye refers to leaving a party, social gathering or other meeting without saying goodbye to the host or anyone else i.e. one minute the guest is there and the next they aren’t. A well performed Gabs Goodbye will see the guest leave and their absence is not noticed until some time later
