Freelance Photographer

Unemployed. when one who states he/she has a place of employment or something to do for earning potential when in reality, do not have this but in fact merely half obscure business cards done up on ms publisher. These people are " freelance photographers ".

Girl: Hey, so what do you do?
Guy: i uh..you know, work on contract...sometimes theres work sometimes there isn't...i shoot um, photographs and develop them in my basement. I don't make much, but when i do it's alright.
Girl : so you're a freelance photographer?
Guy: yeah.
Girl: nvm, not my type.

A phenomenon affecting male freelance writers, editors and translators. When the need to earn enough money to eat, time-zones and deadlines combine to mean that you do not see the light of day for several days and therefore do not feel the need to shave. The resulting stubble: freelance-fade.
