free will

the idea that you could have acted in a different way
the idea that alternative actions are possible for you
the idea that you did not have to do what you did
the idea that you have a choice about what you do
the idea that you are responsible for your actions
When confronted by a woman's cleavage, he could not help but look. At that moment he knew free will was a myth.

free will

1. The idea that people consciously make decisions with their i. One of many problems with this double-noun sequence is that it contradicts itself. Something "willed" is completely controlled. Something "free" is completely uncontrolled.

2. "Free" is a verb in this def. It is the separation of ego from presence/consciousness/that which is being. In other words, it is halting the human sense of control. This event ends all acknowledgement of secular reality, even thoughts, revealing the ultimate euphoric existence, atman, heaven, soul, anatta, etc. It can be done. It can be undone.
1a. "I choose to think I am great, and I choose to hate anything not in agreement with my greatness, but when it does not fear my hate, I get scared, and I dunno why."

1b. Rejected by most religion and proven false by science, now how often do these two parties agree on something?????

2. Give it a try...its only salvation. Free will, yes free that will. No past, no future, only present. Yes present, not absent.

Free Will

An excuse used by Christians to justify God allowing evil and suffering to innocent people. Christians usually use this excuse when they don't have a better argument.
Atheist: How can an all good and loving God allow so many horrible things to happen like cancer, rape, murder, or the Holocaust?

Christian: Hey, God didn't do any of those things pal! He gave us all free will!

Atheist: But if God is all knowing, that means he created us with full knowledge that we will do horrible things. So doesn't that mean we DON'T have free will?

Christian: I... Uh... Um... Hey! Don't question God's infinite plan! Our human simple minds could never comprehend God's intensions!

Atheist: 😑

Illusion of Free Will

According to Nietzsche’s psychoanalysis, freewill might only be just an illusion. A trick of the mind.

Animals and humans have genes that partially predetermine how they act. But it is really thoughts and beliefs that guide people.
Illusion of Free Will- like Buridan’s Ass which states that an Ass that is equally hungry and equally thirsty will both die of either starvation or thirst if water and food are kept at a same distance but in completely different directions if the Ass can only choose from two. Even if the ASS walks the same way to curb their thirst or hunger, it ends up dying of either thirst or hunger because it can only fulfill one need and not the other. Because the animal acts on instinct it is unable to make a rational decision and distinction and can only go to one option.
