All the enemy had to do was hide and they would have won on points alone, but they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by trying to win harder.

Default World

A slang term used by people who have been to Burning Man (Burners) to describe the world outside of the Burn. The outside world is said to be 'default' because it's viewed as the version provided in lieu of a world one would have chosen if given the option. See also "cop out".
