A best friend is that one person you can always count on. They won't get jealous if you're dating someone and they're still single. They wouldn't tell you their personal opinion about something if they knew it would hurt you. They would never in their lives start drama with you or about you. They would stop people who did start rumors about you and they wouldn't care if it made them look bad. They'd only care for your feelings and make sure you were okay.They wouldn't ignore you or blow you off for a crush, then come back and expect you not to be hurt by their actions. A best friend would be that one person who would let you cry and be the strong one who would be with you during that time. After you were through, they would make sure you were 100% okay to talk about it.
