Cloud Envy

Cloud envy is self explanatory; being envious of the clouds and truly wanting to flow, and be free, just like them. This phrase is used by Shikamaru from Naruto in the Chunin Exams where he is stressed out and looks to the sky with cloud envy wishing his life was easy and that he could just go with the flow without a care in the world.

Person 1: Ugh i'm so stressed rn, I wish i could just let everything go.

Person 2: Sounds like you got cloud envy my guy.

Meeting envy

When you are feeling like a useless insignificant Smurf at work and feel pangs of jealous anxiety when co-workers discuss the interesting or seemingly important things they have been doing. Especially if they are talking about all the meetings they’ve been in lately that you weren’t invited to.

Jonah had meeting envy when his co-worker Rhea texted that she was in a meeting- but he wasn’t. Little did he know Rhea had meeting envy listening to several of her co-workers and superiors who were in the meeting discuss all the meetings they had had recently.

Gender Envy

It's the feeling trans peeps get when they look at somebody and have envy on how that person looks or shows. I would say it's like seeing some cis guy just living his life but at the same time your biggest dream (having that body)

Person 1: i thought it was a crush…
Person 2: …but?
Person 1: it was actually gender envy. I need that body. I know it sounds childish and shallow, but it isn't.

White-Envy

When black people feel envious of white society because their ancestors lacked the skill & knowledge to improve their lives. Often resulting in resentment, jealousy and demands for reparations instead of accepting personal responsibility for their own situation, and work towards improving their lives through hard work, discipline and other ethical ways of achieving happiness and success.

Hatred for white people is a result of white-envy due to cultural differences.
