We Stan 

We Stan is a term that is used to express extreme support for something, or that you are a huge fan of someone.

It is a term that derived from Eminem created character "Stan" taken from the song Stan featuring Dido. Stan is a character who loves Eminem so much and is such a die hard fan he became obsessed with him and it eventually drives him insane (literally over a bridge, to his death whilst leaving a message for Eminem, sadly).

Thus, those who "Stan" something love and support that person, thing or situation with a passion. The "We" is used to show that many people also fall behind the same cause.

Friend 1: Did you see the way Kendrick Lamar used his performance at the GRAMMY's last night to stand up for Black Rights AND Bullying??

Friend 2: Yeah bro, he always looks at the bigger picture, definitely a great role model for the next generation. We Stan Kdot.

Dream Stan 

Typically 14 year old girls who simps for, and doesn’t respect the privacy of a Minecraft YouTuber Clay, better known as Dream. Dream stans tend to do the following:

Simp for Dream in an extremely rude and insensitive manor

Bash another Minecraft YouTuber known as Technoblade

Etc.

It’s best to stay away from Dream stans at all costs. You can still be a Dream fan without being a stan, and still like him as your celebrity crush, as long as you accept the fact that it is most likely illegal, and will never happen.

K-Pop stan 

A K-Pop stan is a fan of K-Pop to the point of it being their religion. If you talk negatively about their idols, they're going to attack and harass you for it. They're extremely different from their cousins, the K-Pop fans, who are actually quite chill and polite. K-Pop stans have a bad social reputation on the Internet for replying to posts or comments on social media with clips of famous K-Pop artists dancing. One prime example of this was when a Tweet announcing the death of rapper XXXTentacion was posted which led to multiple K-Pop stans posting clips of K-Pop stans dancing, some even telling people to be fans of several K-Pop artists because they outlived XXXTentacion. Some K-Pop stans are also known to use the N-word. One prime example is when YouTube personality and former Twitch streamer Twomad posted a BTS meme on Twitter which led to multiple K-Pop stans harassing him and calling him the N-word. In conclusion, this is what K-Pop stans are.

Thomas: Dude, there were a bunch of K-Pop stans calling Chris the N-word today because he said that he doesn't like BTS.
Steve: Really? That's pretty fucked up.
Thomas: Some of them also replied to the Tweet announcing the death of XXXTentacion with clips of BTS.
