Anything that is safe isn't something the media has to convince you is safe. People have good enough sense and intuition to know what is safe and what is not. If a doctor tells you jumping off a bridge is safe, do you listen to a doctor because the doctor is qualified, or do you make sure you don't try it without a bungee cord if it's above a certain height , especially if it's not a bridge over water?

People know what is safe and what is not, they also know anybody trying desperately to convince them something is safe is a questionable source, even if it's the media.

Safe

A word to describe someone as a safe option, as they are so ugly and horrible that you know that they will never leave you. Often practised by hot girls on tinder, who swipes you right thinking that you are safe, they keep you on leash often ghosting you for days or weeks, stands you up on dates and are mostly mean. Quickly gets bored as you try to be nice or give them compliments as they were expecting you to talk about the quantum theory and consciousness in the first two lines of greetings. Absolutely results in an unmatch without explanation (while you were typing) becomes toxic for deluded men who are inspired by the "she's way out of my league" movie and leaving them stranded in the dystopia of broken dreams. The cesspool fosters and encourages stalking behaviour, resulting in psychopathic tendencies to be a sociopath and eventually a creep.

Guy: So it's a one year anniversary since we matched! Are you still active on tinder?
Girl: Dude, fuck off! I only swiped you right cuz I thought you are safe

Girl 1: I would love to leave my guy for a hot, tall, rich stud! But I won't cuz I know my guy will never leave me cuz he is an ugly ass loser.

It is an oxymoron. Mixture of the word "safe" to denote something that is good and the word "budget" to denote something that is bad.

Joe-safe

a Joe safe is a shot in Pool or Billiards where the shooter tries to make his ball and misses, but he luckily safes the other player. For example, I am trying to make a ball and I miss but I snooker the next guy. This is called the Joe-safe. This is the Jo-safe because a gentleman in Phuket Thailand routinely did this either by skill or luck.

Man, this guy Joe-safed me again. I can never catch a break.

safe potty syndrome

The inability to poop anywhere except home.
