Poetic Justice is when someone is the victim of their own misdeeds or malicious work.

Charlie Kirk received poetic justice when he was shot by a gunman after years of advocating against any gun regulations and saying that people dying from gun violence was worth it to continue to keep guns unregulated and widespread.
