Keeping a spare pair of glasses (like simple reading-specs from da dollar store) in a certain place at all times (and then promptly returning them to said location after using them in a "mislaid glasses dilemma" emergency, like a hidden set of house/car keys that you use whenever you've accidentally "locked yourself out") can get you out of the age-old "I need my glasses in order to see well enough to FIND my glasses!" problem... you will always know where in the house that your "rescue" glasses will be, so you can go and temporarily don them for clear vision till you find your "regular" glasses again, and then put the spare set back in their "for emergencies" location.

Get the mislaid glasses dilemma mug.The Ice Climbers Dilemma refers to the creation of the characters the Ice Climbers in super smash brothers, the dilemma refers to (when designing the characters) whether or not to allow them to both grab separately and weather or not to give them the ability to easily desync during a grab. In the first two games that the characters appeared in, they were able to do such actions, however, is the newest entry of the game (super smash brothers ultimate) only the main climber can grab, and to desync them you must use very complex combos that are not as effective as they were in the older games. The reason that it is a dilemma is that despite the older versions being more interesting they were also game-breaking.

Normally it is fine to have some standards, but when descent people are unable to fulfill those expectations because of the large number of them and or because the expectations require extremely large amounts money and resources, require the individual to be in perfect physical shape that most people are not able to achieve, and or require the individual to be skilled at doing things that most people don’t know how to do that well, then the individual's expectations may be set too high. This is highly unethical to do, because extremely high standards tend to be very unreasonable and can prevent decent people from being able to get into a romantic relationship due to factors far beyond control.
Annabeth: Why is Emma so upset?
Lauren: She was in a relationship with a Johnny, but he dumped her because she supposedly didn't fulfill his expectations. The thing was his expectations were very unreasonable to begin with. He expects his partner to have flat abs, not to talk to other boys at all, and spend most of her time with him.
Annabeth: He sounds very inconsiderate. I am sure she will find someone better than him who knows how to treat their partner with respect. It sounds like Emma is another victim of the High Romantic Standards Dilemma.

Get the High Romantic Standards Dilemma mug.The good-option dilemma is that typical scenario where—for example—some evil authority figure holding you hostage gives you two options: one where you suffer the most and the other where you don't suffer as long as you give them what they want. Obviously you pick the second option out of desperation, but the dilemma here is that no matter what option you choose, in the end the evil figure will still make you suffer (typically by being killed or watching your loved ones die).
I had a good-option dilemma today where my computer's SSD got corrupted and I either had two options: wipe everything and do a clean reinstall of Windows, or pay a few hundred bucks to have some specialist recover the contents. So I paid for the recovery but the people shipped back the wrong drive with somebody else's files! So in the end, I had to wipe my drive no matter which option I went for. This is the good-option dilemma in a nutshell.
